What a weekend to behold

Well…what a great weekend I had. Finished catching up on all my sleep. Got the smell of smoke out of my clothes (remind me to bring dry wood next year). And now I have the honor to present this video to you. I must warn you it’s VERY LONG and will take a long time to load. I would also suggest keeping a box of kleenex close by because if the photos don’t affect you, the music will. You may not know these folks, but they are your parents, your brothers and sisters, husband and wives, your children, your best friend… This compilation was made possible by the hard work of Laurie Frey. (Who starts her new job at the American Cancer Society tomorrow)

Video Frederick Cancer walk - “Cancer has A Face “ (very large file but absolutely worth it. 14 MB) You are going to want to make sure you have your volume turned up. The song is “Why We Walk” by the Mamasitas. CDs are available for $5 and benefit American Cancer Society along with The Frederick County Relay for Life. You can get them through Laurie, just send her an email.

A little something from our site I put together for my team.

Our efforts helped raise over $160,000 (as of the moment I wrote this) Donations can continue even after the Frederick County Relay for Life. The event is soo much fun and has entertainment for everyone.

Music throughout the evening courtesy of “Street Noise” (a local band.)
Silent Auction items donated by participating teams and local businesses.
Ms. Relay…our drag queen contest (believe me this is an insult to drag queens)
Box car race with no rules…and plenty of back seat drivers.
Midnight BINGO with Square Dancing… “Swing your partner round and round… B-8″.
Each site has tents and campers set up…smell of various food cooking on grills and fire pits.
Meet new friends or just hang out with your old ones, either way you can’t lose!

Frederick..It’s Finally Friday, now what to do with MONSTERS!

Good Morning, what a long week. Slow week in Real Estate but a long week otherwise. I have been preparing for today’s event at the Frederick Fair Grounds. We were hoping for dry weather, but it looks like we are going to have some showers…oh well, pack the rain gear. I thought I would leave you with one of my favorite YouTube videos.
