Well not exactly a short sale, but a short sales person maybe… I passed Connie Snook’s little car and couldn’t resist a Friday Foto.
She may drive a short car, she might even be short, but I bet she’s not short on customer service.
I wonder how small she can make your insurance premiums??? Give Connie Snook a call at 301-695-7896. Or you can stop by her website at conniesnook.org and request a quote. She is located at 1 Mt Olivet Blvd, Frederick MD 21701.
This is not an endorsement only a photo op for her car. ; )
Have a great weekend.
Friday FOTO - Bald Eagle flies over Middletown
I was sitting in the family room the other evening around dinner time. I happen to glance out the window and noticed a few “hawks” or turkey vultures soaring in the distance. It was a nice breezing evening, so it was not uncommon to see them circling the skies. One broke away from the crowd and caught my eye. His head was almost glistening…snatched up my camera (never too far from me) and stepped outside. And I’ll be damn, it was a Bald Eagle. I don’t have the greatest camera in the world but it does pretty well. (I did take pretty good pictures of the eclipse with it) So the pictures don’t do this Patriotic Bird of Prey any justice but you get to see it. I must say it was a pretty exciting moment for me.

Friday Foto for Fun
I had some time to kill before I had to pick up my daughter for soccer practice earlier this week. I pass by the signs on Alternate Route 40 all the time. “Washington Monument State Park” But isn’t the Monument in DC? This monument was erected long before the National Washington Monument and, in my opinion, offers a much more pleasant experience. The entrance is across the street from the historic South Mountain Inn and right next to the Dahlgren Chapel.
The Washington Monument State Park sits along the Appalachian Trail and peacefully a top one of the high points on South Mountain. I think I found my “happy” place with this park. The views are wonderful and the history is intriguing. I can only imagine what took place on that mountain during the Civil War times. I am sure the rocks tell a story…I just haven’t heard them yet.
One thing that really draws me to this location is the fact they see Bald Eagles on a regular basis. I would love to photograph a Bald Eagle majestically flying across the ridge line. They are such an awesome species…maybe its just my patriotism that favors this bird of prey.
Have a great week…if you are looking for something to do, stop by The Washington Monument State Park.
Friday Foto for Fairy Tales
Yesterday was our friends first trip to see the Easter Bunny with their newborn baby. Of course as any proud parents, you need photos and more photos and then a few more. There wasn’t any tears or screaming at all…mom held it together pretty well.
After pictures at the FSK Mall, we headed over to Applebee’s for some grub. While we were there, in walk a few familiar faces. Not only did she get to see the Easter Bunny, she also got to see Santa. Not just one Santa but two Santas. They must of had a Tweetup, Sledup or Meetup or something. We thought we were being invaded by the Salvation Army bell ringers union. OK photo op with the working camera the Fuji s5200. (They had business cards and everything.) I knew they were the real Santa Doubles.
So when we left the restaurant…there it was — his sleigh!! …and that my friends is your Friday Foto in Frederick.
You can visit this Santa on his website MustangSanta.com. This is some serious biz. They even have their own fraternity.
Have a great weekend. (remember, he know if you’ve been bad or good.)
