Friday Foto – Move that House – Move that house

Wait, isn’t it “Move that Bus?”  No, we aren’t watching the Extreme Makeover.  These guys are serious.  They are actually moving this house.  Not only are they going to move one…they are going to move another.  As part of Illiano Properties new plaza going in behind Bank of America in Mt Airy, they are shifting around a couple houses.  This was the first I had seen this, so obviously more pictures will come as they actually move the house.  I keep my eye on it.

Frederick Friday for the Fun of it

Schools are closed today and I am off to a managers meeting in Hagerstown… just a quick post.

Today is just a quick video of Jeff Dunham’s performance with Achmed the Dead Terrorist. Ventriloquists always amaze me, then again, I am easily amused.  This guy has a bunch of characters in his footlocker…and they are all great.  I hope you find it as funny as I did.

Friday Foto in Frederick

I had noticed about a half dozen Cardinals frolicking in the back yard the other day.  This isn’t anything new it seems like my back yard is the garden of eden for most of the local wild life.  I had my camera, of course, and thought I would try to get a good picture of the bright red birds. (technical term)

When I went through my pictures, I thought this picture was pretty good.   But the point of today’s picture isn’t the fact I shot a Cardinal…THE TREES ARE BUDDING!!!  We are not even half way through “winter.”  Click the picture to see a larger view.

Fridays Foto is for Flickr

If you haven’t tried out Flickr yet, I highly suggest it. I find it is the easiest way to share photos with family and friends. You don’t have to send bulky attachments to someone inbox and God forbid if they are still on dial up…they will hate you. I keep some of my numerous photos on flickr. For about $25 a year, you can store thousands and thousands of pictures…I have a lot more to take.
