I am not much a star gazer, but I do enjoy looking at the beauty up there. Wednesday night was the Full Lunar Eclipse. This only happens every so often. The next one will be visible from the United States in 2010 (seems like a long way off, it’s not.) I figure I would seize the moment, freeze my butt off and take some pictures. I set up the tripod and pointed it toward the clears freezing skies. About every fifteen minutes I would go out and take a series of shots. The whole process took about three hours. The first shot was about 9 PM and the last one was about midnight. ~~Sorry about the one that in portrait view, I wanted try something different.~~

Friday Foto in Frederick

We had some serious ice this week that caused school cancellations. The ice coated the branches. Mother nature always has a way to amaze us. The first foto is right after the freezing rain started. The bottom pictures were from Thursday after the rain. All the ice melted except for the tops of the mountains. When I came home on Thursday the sun was shining through the trees and it look like crystals.

Friday Foto - Move that House - Move that house

Wait, isn’t it “Move that Bus?” No, we aren’t watching the Extreme Makeover. These guys are serious. They are actually moving this house. Not only are they going to move one…they are going to move another. As part of Illiano Properties new plaza going in behind Bank of America in Mt Airy, they are shifting around a couple houses. This was the first I had seen this, so obviously more pictures will come as they actually move the house. I keep my eye on it.

Frederick Friday for the Fun of it

Schools are closed today and I am off to a managers meeting in Hagerstown… just a quick post.

Today is just a quick video of Jeff Dunham’s performance with Achmed the Dead Terrorist. Ventriloquists always amaze me, then again, I am easily amused. This guy has a bunch of characters in his footlocker…and they are all great. I hope you find it as funny as I did.
