If you are looking for an outstanding agent, I highly recommend Chris Reeder. She has always been one of my go to people since I have left the Frederick area. So here’s a little about her;
Chris has lived in Frederick, Maryland all of her life and knows the County well. She is an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and a graduate of Hood College where she majored in Business Administration. She is very familiar with the area and previously worked at Ft. Detrick. Her husband has been employed by Bechtel for over 30 years. She has a daughter in Frederick County Public Schools. Chris has been known to go that extra mile for her clients assisting them with moving and having her “handyman” husband fix small items for her clients. She will ALWAYS return your calls and make you feel at ease and she will never pressure you!
Chris has several investment properties of her own and has experience with buying “fixer uppers” and rehabilitating them for a profit. She looks forward to helping you, whether it is with selling your home or finding you a home for yourself or as an investment. Call her today!

You have been working hard all winter long and the summer is closing in on you. Time to think vacation. Well, with the cost of flights and the hassle of delays due to volcanic ash floating around, coupled with the fear of $4 a gallon gas prices. Within 3 hours, you can be relaxing lakeside in a gorgeous Log cabin taking in some of the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Deep Creek Lake offers a variety of activities for all.

Friday Frederick Foto for Ice Cream

This week has been one of the warmer weeks of the summer. I’m not complaining, just sayin’. One of my favorite past times when it’s hot (or cold out) is visiting local ice cream establishments.
Here are a few places around Frederick County and surrounding areas that you might find me enjoying a cone.
- Jami’s out on Route 40. The best (and least expensive) soft serve around. Love the flavor of the week.
- Ben & Jerry’s on Carroll Creek. Always has a flavor for your mood. Plus, people watch is always the best along the creek.
- Jimmie Cone off 144 in Mt Airy. This is a local icon.
- Nutter’s in Sharpsburg next to the Library.
- Maggie Moos has some of the tastiest creation as well in Westview plaza.
- Bruster’s on Crestwood and New Design.
- Rita’s Ice on South St.
- Dairy Queen of course.
- RIP – FreezKing It was one of my favorites
So, tell me where is your ice cream place?
