Let me tell you about place that is just sinfully delightful. The Fractured Prune is a little donut shop over on East Patrick Street. I want to thank a friend of mine, Marylou Fisher (a fellow REALTOR with Long & Foster) for telling me about this place. Marylou couldn’t shut up about how good these donuts were. She was right…mmmmmm. They are fresh, hot and scrumptious!!! You have a large selection of awesome combinations. I really liked the Reese’s Cup© but the Chocolate Covered Cherry was pretty good too. Visit their website for the menu of donuts.
I think we found our new Sunday morning stop for donuts. Now where did I put that South Beach diet book?

Bob, It doesn’t seem fair to post to the world a donut shop that doesn’t exist anywhere but near your neighborhood. My mouth is watering and I don’t have a Fractured Prune nearby. I guess I’ll have to plan a visit. Unfortunately, it’s out of the question for breakfast today.
LOL… You can open your own. http://www.fracturedprune.com/franchising.php
Bob: THAT’S precisely what we need in Danger Bay—a doughnut shop! It’s interesting that chain doughnut shops here in the Twin Cities haven’t done well over the years—they hang around for a few years and then just disappear! Small independent shops seem to do better.
Jay, You don’t have enough Police officers working!!! Blame city hall!
Bob,
Thanks for teasing us. We don’t have those here either! But we do have Krispy Kreme. I will have to remember this the next time I am close by.
David,
Myrtle Beach was my first taste of Krispy Kreme right there on North King Hwy. Anytime the “HOT” light was on we were turning into the parking lot. That and an Ice cold milk…Heaven!!!! (thanks for stopping by)
Doughnuts give me heartburn. Spectator sport for me.
Me too, but a Pepto chaser takes care of that problem.
